What are Safer Alternatives to Commonly Used Pesticides?

Common Herbicides: Roundup (glyphosate), 2, 4-D, MCPA, dicamba, trychlopyr, atrazine, and diuron.
Safer Alternatives: corn gluten, hot water, vinegar, hand pulling, weed whackers, proper watering and mowing, and organic lawn care.

In order to prevent a weed problem from occurring it is important to do daily upkeep on your lawn and garden.  This way you will not have a major weed problem on your hands.
